A well-structured mentor program for youth aged 10-18 can have a transformative impact on their personal development, academic achievement, and social skills. The mentor program will run year-round, with a flexible structure to accommodate participants' school schedules. The program will include: Weekly Meetings: (Sat 12am-2pm) One-hour group or one-on-one sessions focused on building trust and addressing individual goals; Monthly Workshops: Thematic sessions on topics like goal-setting, time management, and healthy relationships; and Quarterly Events: Community service projects, leadership challenges, or career day events to foster collaboration and real-world exposure. The program is built around five core components designed to address the holistic development of the mentees: Academic Support: Assistance with homework, study skills, and personal learning plans to improve academic performance; Skill Development: Interactive sessions on communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity; Personal Growth: Activities to boost self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and resilience; Career Exploration: Opportunities to connect with professionals, internships, and workshops on career planning; and Leadership Training: Practical experiences like leading projects or mentoring younger participants to instill confidence and initiative.
